On January 29, Asian and Pacific Collaboration center (APCC) arranged a meeting of the Hong Kong Trade Development Council delegation, headed by the leading economist of the Trade Development Council (HKTDC) Mr. Louis Chen at «Start-development» LTD. During the meeting both parties discussed the projects of «Start-Development» LTD, public-private partnership projects such as «Satellite city Southern» and its prospects.

On January 30, Asian and Pacific Collaboration center (APCC) arranged a meeting of the Hong Kong Trade Development Council delegation, headed by the leading economist of the Trade Development Council (HKTDC) Mr. Louis Chen at the Investment Committee of St. Petersburg. During the meeting, the Investment Committee introduced the investment policy of St. Petersburg, public-private partnership projects and the benefits provided by the city government to foreign investors.

On February 2, a meeting with a delegation of representatives of the Academy of Civil Service of Jiangsu Province, consisting of 3 people, headed by the Head of the Department of Postgraduate Education of the Academy of Civil Service of Jiangsu Province, was held at Asian and Pacific Collaboration center (APCC). During the meeting, the parties discussed the training and professional development of civil servants in Russia and in China, as well as familiarized themselves with the exchange programs in public service institutes in St. Petersburg. The parties agreed on further information exchange, as well as on the exchange of civil servants in order to improve their skills. The meeting was attended by representatives of the North-West Institute of the RANEPA.

On March 21, a meeting with a delegation of 4 representatives of the People’s Government of the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region headed by the Vice Mayor of Guyuan City, Mr. Pjao Fejlan, was held at Asian and Pacific Collaboration center (APCC). During the meeting, the delegation discussed the system of state and local government in St. Petersburg and issues of urban planning and preservation of historical and cultural monuments.

On April 20, a meeting with a delegation of 6 representatives of the People’s Government of Guangzhou City, headed by Deputy Secretary General of the Administration of the People’s Government of Guangzhou City, Mr. Li Hongwej was held at Asian and Pacific Collaboration center (APCC). During the meeting, the parties discussed the issues of urban planning and development of city roads of St. Petersburg, as well as possible cooperation projects of the city of Guangzhou and St. Petersburg in the field of tourism and culture. The meeting was attended by representatives of St. Petersburg tourist companies.

On April 26, a meeting with a delegation of 3 representatives of the Committee on Trade of Shenzhen headed by Mr. Gao Zhan, Chairman of the Committee, was held at Asian and Pacific Collaboration center (APCC). During the meeting, the parties discussed the development of trade, economic and industrial cooperation between Russia and China. The possible development of cooperation in the field of economy and trade between the city of St. Petersburg and the city of Shenzhen was also under discussion. The parties agreed to mutually search the partner companies of both parties and establishing cooperation between them. The meeting was attended by representatives of the city trade companies.

On May 21, a meeting with delegation of 6 representatives of Qinghai Association of the Industry and trade headed by the Vice-chairman of the Association, Mr. Wu Jie, was held at Asian and Pacific Collaboration center (APCC). During the meeting, the parties discussed the development of Chinese-Russian trade, the industry and investment potential of St. Petersburg and Qinghai province. The parties agreed on further cooperation in investments and trade.

On May 29, a meeting with a delegation of the Department for market control and regulation of the Putuo district of Shanghai, consisting of 6 people, headed by the Head of Department Mr. Zhao Wenzhong, was held at Asian and Pacific Collaboration center (APCC). During the meeting the delegation get acquainted with the Asian and Pacific Collaboration center (APCC) activities, economic development, trade and industry situation in St. Petersburg. The parties discussed possible cooperation projects and agreed on further cooperation.

On June 1, a meeting with a delegation the Commerce Bureau of Meizhou, consisting of 6 people, headed by the Head of Commerce Bureau of Meizhou Mr. Zeng Xianshou, was held at Asian and Pacific Collaboration center (APCC). During the meeting the parties discussed the Russian and Chinese legislation in the field of international trade, the delegation from China studied the investment potential of St. Petersburg, and made a presentation of Meizhou city and its main enterprises.

On June 6, a meeting with a delegation of the Department for WTO, Ministry of Trade of Hubei Province, consisting of 3 people, headed by the Deputy Head of Department, Mr. Ming Pingxin, was held at Asian and Pacific Collaboration center (APCC). During the meeting, the parties discussed the investment potential of St. Petersburg, benefits for foreign investors, currently available investment projects for implementation. The parties agreed on further development of cooperation between Hubei province and St. Petersburg.

On July 6, a meeting with a delegation of People’s Government of Hangzhou, consisting of 5 people, headed by the Deputy Chief Secretary of the People's Government of Hangzhou Mr. Zhang Wenge, was held at Asian and Pacific Collaboration center (APCC). During the meeting, the parties discussed the economic and cultural potential of St. Petersburg, the delegation from Hangzhou made a presentation of their city. The parties discussed promising areas for the development of cooperation between the city of St. Petersburg and Hangzhou.

On July 26, a meeting with a delegation of 6 representatives of the municipal audit bureau of the city of Shanghai, headed by the deputy head of the municipal audit bureau of the city of Shanghai Mr. Sun Chi was held at NP Asian and Pacific Collaboration center (APCC). On the Russian side, the meeting was also attended by the Director General of the Audit Company TOBU, a member of the Audit Chamber of St. Petersburg, the official consultant of the Government of St. Petersburg and the Government of the Leningrad Region - Zelenskaya E.G. During the meeting, the parties discussed audit systems in the Russian Federation and the People's Republic of China, the scope of activities and powers of the Audit Chamber of St. Petersburg, exchanged experiences and proposals, and also agreed on further information exchange in this area.

On August 3, a meeting with a delegation of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress of the Jinshan district of Shanghai, consisting of 6 people, headed by the Head of the Standing Committee of the Jinshan NPC, Mr. Du Zhizhong, was held at Asian and Pacific Collaboration center (APCC). During the meeting, the parties discussed the social security in Russia and China, health care system, free health insurance, pension system and also development of cooperation between Shanghai and St. Petersburg in economy and trade, culture, education. In completion of negotiations, the parties agreed on further stages of cooperation and also about visit by delegation from St. Petersburg of Shanghai Expo.

On August 10, a meeting with a delegation of 10 representatives of the Meizhou city Government headed by Mr. Zhu Guocheng, chairman of the Meizhou CPC was held at Asian and Pacific Collaboration center (APCC). During the meeting, the Chinese side got acquainted with the potential of the city of St. Petersburg in the field of economy, culture and investments. The delegation was presented the investment project "Satellite City Southern". At the end of the meeting, the parties also discussed possible joint projects in the field of culture, in particular, organizing tours of St. Petersburg Mariinsky Theater to the city of Meizhou.

On August 16, a meeting with a delegation of the Investment promotion bureau of Guangxi province, consisting of 8 people, headed by the deputy head of the Bureau, Ms. Zheng Juan, was held at Asian and Pacific Collaboration center (APCC). During the meeting, the Chinese delegation got acquainted with the investment policy of St. Petersburg, currently existing investment projects. The parties discussed the area of modern production and opportunities for cooperation in this area between the province of Guangxi and the city of St. Petersburg. At the end of the meeting, the parties agreed on further information exchange in these areas and search for partners for cooperation in their countries.

On August 20, a meeting with a delegation of Chinese alternative energy company Jiangsu New Energy Development Co., Ltd., consisting of 6 people, headed by the deputy General Director of Jiangsu New Energy Development Co., Ltd., Ms. Hu Hong, was held at Asian and Pacific Collaboration center (APCC). During the meeting, the parties discussed the development of alternative energy in China and Russia, in particular in Jiangsu province and St. Petersburg, as well as the latest technologies at this sphere. The parties agreed to further exchange of information and search for partners for companies in the Russian Federation.

On August 21 APCC arranged a meeting at the Committee for Industrial Policy and Innovations of St. Petersburg with a delegation of Xiamen government consisting of 7 people headed by the member of the CPC of Xiamen, Chairman of the Xiamen CPC Organizing Committee, Mr. Chen Shenyang. During the meeting, the parties discussed the development of industry in Xiamen and St. Petersburg, as well as possible joint projects, in particular, establishing of Golden Dragon buses assembly facility in St. Petersburg. The parties agreed on further cooperation in this area.

On August 24, a meeting with a delegation of State Administration of food of Jiangsu Province, PRC, consisting of 6 people, headed by the Deputy Head of State Administration of food of Jiangsu Province, Mr. Dong Shuguang, was held at Asian and Pacific Collaboration center (APCC). During the meeting, the parties discussed the implementation of control and supervision of food quality in the Russian Federation, legislation in the field of food quality. At the end of the meeting, the parties agreed on further cooperation and exchange of information.

On August 24, a meeting with a delegation of the Bureau on the intellectual property of the Hubei Province, consisting of 6 people, headed by the Head of the Bureau, Mr. Liu Xiaopu, was held at Asian and Pacific Collaboration center (APCC). During the meeting the parties discussed the policy of the Russian Federation in the field of intellectual property protection, legislation on intellectual property rights protection and trademark registration and patent obtaining procedures in the Russian Federation. The parties agreed on further exchange of information in this area.

On August 28 APCC arranged a meeting of Detskoselsky Concern with delegation of Jiangsu Agricultural Reclamation Group Co., Ltd. (China), consisting of 6 people headed by the Chairman of the Board, the Director General of Jiangsu Agricultural Reclamation Group Co., Ltd. Mr. Hu Zhaohui. During the meeting the delegation get acquainted with Detskoselsky Concern business activities and visited agricultural and dairy farms of the company.  The parties discussed possible joint projects in the agricultural industry, in particular, the organization of sunflower supplies from Russia to the People's Republic of China (Province of Jiangsu), a possibility of joint venture on the Russian territory. Summing up the meeting, the parties agreed on further cooperation stages on the next visit of the Jiangsu Agricultural Reclamation Group Co., Ltd. delegation to St. Petersburg due to sign the road map for cooperation with Detskoselsky Concern.

On August 31, Asian and Pacific Collaboration center (APCC) arranged a meeting with a delegation of the Environmental Protection Agency of Guangzhou city, consisting of 4 people, headed by the Deputy Inspector of the Environmental Protection Agency of Guangzhou Mr. Liu Xiaohan at the Department for Environmental Management and Protection of Moscow Government. During the meeting, the delegation got acquainted with the activities and projects of the Moscow City Government Department for Environmental Management and Protection and SUE State Nature Protection Center, consider the environmental management system in Russia and legislation in the field of nature protection and ecology, the system of environmental police. The parties discussed environmental, water and soil quality standards in Russia and China, also actions being undertaken to combat river pollution, and exchanged experience in these areas. Concluding the meeting, the parties discussed possible joint projects and agreed on further cooperation.

On September 14, a meeting with a delegation of the People's Government of Lishui, China, consisting of 5 people, headed by the Deputy Mayor of the People's Government of Lishui, Mr. Xu Guangwen, was held at Asian and Pacific Collaboration center (APCC). During the meeting the parties discussed the mechanisms of training of highly qualified specialists in Russia and China, the delegation made a presentation of the Lishui city. Concluding the meeting, the parties discussed the areas of cooperation between St. Petersburg and Lishui, in the fields of trade, culture, education, including the exchange of intellectual talents and attracting specialists to the cities.

On September 14, a meeting with a delegation of Hubei Administration for industrial safety, consisting of 6 people, headed by the Second category inspector of Hubei Administration for industrial safety, Mr. Kun Fanzhun, was held at Asian and Pacific Collaboration center (APCC). During the meeting the parties discussed the implementation of safety supervision on industrial facilities, safety in mines and chemical plants, the assistance methods for emergency situations and prevention and elimination of consequences of emergency situations. Concluding the meeting, the parties agreed on further information exchange.

On September 17, Asian and Pacific Collaboration center (APCC) arranged a meeting at the SIMETRA company with the delegation of Hangzhou Investments Movement Ltd., consisting of 6 people, headed by the Chairman of Hangzhou Investments Movement Ltd, the Secretary of CPC Mr. Zhang Shunnian. The delegation got acquainted with the activities and projects of SIMETRA, especially in the field of application and use of intelligent transport system (ITS) data, as well as the study of information technology tools and differences in the Informatization of high-speed roads. The parties discussed the development of high-speed roads in Russia and possible joint cooperation projects.

On September 18, a meeting with a delegation of Zhejiang food Administration, consisting of 6 people, headed by the Deputy Director of Zhejiang food Administration Mr. Han Hezhong, was held at Asian and Pacific Collaboration center (APCC). During the meeting the parties exchanged information and experience in the field of production, processing, storage and logistics of grain and oil in Russia and China, also discussed possible joint projects in the field of food industry, in particular possible projects for the export of grain and oil to China.

On September 19 APCC arranged the presentation of agricultural products held by Gansu companies, the People's Republic of China (fruit and vegetable products). 14 Chinese supplier companies and representatives of the Government of the Province of Gansu took part in the action. On the Russian side the presentation was attended by representatives of the business of St. Petersburg. Representative of the Province of Gansu government has told about the development of the province in such spheres as economy, trade, science and technology, education e t. c. The Gansu companies presented the products they manufactured and supplied. At the end of the meeting the parties discussed on possible cooperation projects, the organization of import and export of products.

On September 19, a meeting with a delegation of the People’s Political Consultative Conference of Jianggan district (Hangzhou, PRC) consisting of 6 people, headed by the Deputy Chairman of Jianggan CPPC, was held at Asian and Pacific Collaboration center (APCC). During the meeting, the parties discussed possible projects of cooperation between St. Petersburg and Jiangan district of Hangzhou in the field of economy and trade, education and culture. Chinese delegation also made a presentation of the district. Concluding the meeting, the parties agreed on further cooperation.

On September 21, a meeting with a delegation of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Guangzhou, consisting of 9 people, headed by the Chairman of Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Guangzhou Mr. Dong Yanjun, was held at Asian and Pacific Collaboration center (APCC). During the meeting, the parties discussed the development of industry in Guangzhou and St. Petersburg, as well as possible cooperation projects in the field of industry, trade, import and export, investment. In concluding the meeting, the parties agreed on the selection of partner companies in their cities and on further steps to develop cooperation.

On September 21, a meeting with a delegation of the Department of forestry of Hubei Province, consisting of 9 people, headed by the Deputy Chairman of Department of forestry of Hubei Province Mrs. Hong Shi, was held at Asian and Pacific Collaboration center (APCC). During the meeting the parties discussed the implementation of supervision and protection of forestry in St. Petersburg and Leningrad region. The parties agreed on further cooperation in this area.

On September 24, a meeting with a delegation of the National People’s Congress of the Xihu district of Hangzhou, consisting of 6 people, headed by the its Deputy Chairman, Mr. Zhang Yueding, was held at Asian and Pacific Collaboration center (APCC). During the meeting the Chinese side got acquainted with the potential of St. Petersburg in the field of economy, science and technology, culture, education, investment, and made a presentation of the Xihu district. Concluding the meeting, the parties discussed further development of cooperation.

On the 6th of March “Asia and Pacific Collaboration Center” organized a visit of the delegation of “Cambridge of East China” international school of Jiangsu province, PRC, to Lomonosov Moscow State University. The delegation included 7 people and was headed by the principal of “Cambridge of East China” international school, Mr. Zhuang Shengli. During the visit the delegation became acquainted with education programs for foreign students, conditions of enrollment, accommodation and visa support. The parties agreed on the visit of graduating students of “Cambridge of East China” international school of Jiangsu province in April 2017.    

On the 7th of March “Asia and Pacific Collaboration Center” organized a visit of the delegation of “Cambridge of East China” international school of Jiangsu province, PRC, to international school of the Herzen University. The delegation included 7 people and was headed by the principal of “Cambridge of East China” international school, Mr. Zhuang Shengli. During the visit the Chinese delegation became acquainted with specifics of education in international school of the Herzen University, international bachelor programs. The parties agreed on cooperation, student exchange, organization of joint summer camp and visit of students of “Cambridge of East China” international school in April 2017. 

On the 31st of May “Asia and Pacific Collaboration Center” organized a visit of the Construction Machinery Association representatives of Zibo city to the Weld Force company. The delegation consisted of 15 participants and was headed by the Chairman of the Construction Machinery Association. The representatives of the Weld Force company held the presentation of the company and the goods produced. The parties discussed new technologies in the field of mechanical engineering and welding equipment, exchanged contact information, and agreed on cooperation and further discussion of possible product supply by the Weld Force company to PRC.  

On the 12th of June in “Asia and Pacific Collaboration Center” a meeting was held with the delegation of the government of Loudi city of Hunan province. The delegation consisted of 6 participants and was headed by the Secretary of the city committee of the CPC Mr. Li Jianguo. The purpose of the visit was to examine current state of economic and trade development in Russia, to become acquainted with investment projects both in Russia and in St. Petersburg in particular. The parties discussed the possibility of cooperation in the field of science and technology, tourism and trade, and agreed on constant cooperation.  

On the 14th of June in “Asia and Pacific Collaboration Center” a meeting was held with the delegation of Xinyang Normal University. The delegation consisted of 6 participants and was headed by the President of Xinyang Normal University Mr. Fang Ming. The meeting was also attended by the representative of the Herzen State Pedagogical University of Russia. The purpose of the visit was to get familiar with educational system of higher education institutions in St. Petersburg, the Herzen State Pedagogical University of Russia in particular, to share experience with each other in the field of implementation of new approaches in education and teaching process, to discuss the possibility to sign an agreement and to realize cooperation project of «2+2» dual degree diploma program, to organize lectures of the Herzen University professors in China and to establish long-term cooperation. 

On 28th of June in “Asia and Pacific Collaboration Center” a meeting was held with the mass media representatives of Shaanxi province. The delegation consisted of 6 participants and was headed by the Deputy Inspector of Public Television and Radiobroadcasting and Press Service, Mr. Xiao Songyun. The purpose of the visit was an interview on “One Belt One Road” initiative, investment projects, in which investors from China took part in recent years. Also the purpose of the visit was to familiarize with the current state of economic development and trade between Russia and China.

On the 3rd of July in “Asia and Pacific Collaboration Center” a meeting was held with the delegation of representatives of Anhui province Administration for Industry and Commerce. The delegation consisted of 6 participants and was headed by the Chief of the Administration Mr. Zhu Bin. The purpose of the visit was to get acquainted with the industry and trade development in Russia, in St. Petersburg in particular, to study fundamental provisions of consumer protection legislation in Russia, to share experience in the field of quality control of food and pharmaceutical products. The parties agreed to continue information cooperation and to cooperate in the field of industry and commerce between Anhui province and St. Petersburg.

On the 12th of July in “Asia and Pacific Collaboration Center” a meeting was held with the delegation of representatives of the Government and business of the Henan province. The delegation consisted of 30 participants and was headed by the Deputy Director of Henan Industry and Information Technology Commission. The purpose of the visit was to examine the state of industry development in St. Petersburg, to get acquainted with the plants producing industrial machinery. The parties agreed on further exchange of information and establishment of cooperation between Henan province and St. Petersburg.  

On the 24th of July “Asia and Pacific Collaboration Center” organized a meeting in Saint-Petersburg Institute of Culture an Arts with the delegation of the Huangshan city Government. The delegation consisted of 6 participants and was headed by the Director of External Affairs Department Mr. Xiao Shanwu. The purpose of the visit was to get acquainted with the work of Saint-Petersburg Institute of Culture an Arts, to discuss the possibilities of organization of joint conferences, seminars and symposia, organization of joint education projects in tourism field, summer schools, cultural exchange. The parties agreed on bilateral cooperation, discussed possible joint projects in education sphere.

On 25th of July in “Asia and Pacific Collaboration Center” a meeting was held with the delegation of Ningbo city Government representatives. The delegation consisted of 5 participants and was headed by the Vice-chairman of Ningbo Commission of Economy and Information Technology, Mr. Fang Wei. During the meeting the delegation got acquainted with the state of economy and trade development in St. Petersburg, present investment projects. The parties discussed possible directions of cooperation, agreed on further information exchange, in particular on providing information about Ningbo’s companies seeking help in searching for partners in Russia.

On the 1st of August in “Asia and Pacific Collaboration Center” a meeting was held with the delegation of representatives of Jurong city Government from PRC. The delegation consisted of 5 participants and was headed by the Deputy Mayor of People’s government Mr. Hou Huafeng. The purpose of the visit was to get acquainted with economic, scientific and technical, cultural potential of St. Petersburg, to discuss possible joint projects in economy and trade, agriculture, science and technology, tourism. As a result, the parties determined main directions of cooperation and agreed on further interaction and development of this directions

On the 7th of August “Asia and Pacific Collaboration Center” organized a meeting with the delegation of Beijing businessmen. The delegation consisted of 15 participants and was headed by the Chairmen of sci-tech company “Jialifang” Mr. Qi Anguo. The purpose of the visit was to get acquainted with industry and trade development in St. Petersburg, investment climate and foreign investment incentives in St. Petersburg. During the meeting the information about current investment projects in St. Petersburg and Leningrad oblast was provided to the delegation. Also the presentation of satellite city “Uzhny” project by “Start Development” was made.  

On the 23rd of August “Asia and Pacific Collaboration Center” organized a meeting in Saint Petersburg Sport Federation of Taekwondo with the delegation of People’s Republic of China. The delegation was headed by the Director of Fuzhou Taekwondo Association Mr. Wan Hongle. The Chinese delegation consisted of schoolchildren who came to St. Petersburg to share experience with Russian kids practicing taekwondo, to get familiar with the Russian school of taekwondo, and to get familiar with Russia and Russian culture. Chief coach of Saint Petersburg junior team Viacheslav Bezborodov organized joint training for Chinese and Russian sportsmen. During the meeting the heads of Saint Petersburg Sport Federation of Taekwondo delegation D. A. Momot and the Director of Fuzhou Taekwondo Association Mr. Wan Hongle discussed prospects for cooperation in taekwondo development field, prospects for strengthening the friendship between taekwondo schools of St. Petersburg and Fuzhou, and agreed on delegation exchange both junior and adult.

On the 23rd of August “Asia and Pacific Collaboration Center” organized a meeting in regional sport community organization “Go Federation of St. Petersburg” headed by the president Podolyak M.A. with the delegation of leadership and students of Chinese club “Checkers Go” from Fuzhou city, PRC. The delegation was headed by the principal Mr. Wan Hongle. During the meeting the students set up a mini competition of checkers Go, professors discussed particularities and training techniques, promotion of the game in different countries, especially in Russia and China, discussed prospects of cooperation and agreed on delegation exchange.   

On the 29th of August in “Asia and Pacific Collaboration Center” a meeting was held with the delegation of People’s Government of Nanjing city. The delegation consisted of 6 participants and was headed by the mayor Mr. Zhan Yixin. During the meeting the parties discussed directions of cooperation between cities in economy and trade, science and technologies, education and culture. First steps of establishing constant cooperation in these fields were determined.

On the 4th of September in “Asia and Pacific Collaboration Center” a meeting was held with the delegation of representatives of the Government of Keqiao district of Shaoxing city. The delegation consisted of 7 participants and was headed by Chairwoman of Association of friendship with foreign countries Mrs. Wu Xiao. During the meeting the parties discussed and determined main directions of cooperation in the fields of economy, trade, tourism, cultural exchange of creative teams, student exchange and sharing experience between professionals.

On the 5th of September “Asia and Pacific Collaboration Center” organized a meeting in Administration of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of St. Petersburg with the delegation of Jiangsu province Civil Defense Administration. The delegation consisted of 6 participants and was headed by the Deputy director Mr. Shen Bin. The purpose of the visit was to examine experience of Russian colleagues in organization and realization of civil defense events. The parties shared experience in organization and realization of rescue operations under conditions of emergencies and natural calamities, and agreed on further cooperation.

On the 10th of September “Asia and Pacific Collaboration Center” organized a meeting with the delegation of Nanchong city committee of the CPC of Sichuan province. The delegation consisted of 5 participants and was headed by the Secretary of the city committee of the CPC Mr. Song Chaohua. During the meeting the parties discussed developing of cooperation in economy, education, culture, trade and agriculture between Nanchong and St. Petersburg. The delegation made a presentation of key branches of agriculture of Sichuan province. The parties agreed on further exchange of information and determined main directions of cooperation.

On the 12th of September “Asia and Pacific Collaboration Center” organized a meeting with the delegation of the Standing Committee of the People’s Congress of Liuzhou city, PRC. The delegation consisted of 5 participants and was headed by the deputy director Mr. Liu Chuanlin. During the meeting the delegation got acquainted with the current state and perspectives of St. Petersburg development in the fields of economy, trade, science and technology, culture and education. The parties discussed possible projects in industry sphere and agreed to look for partner companies of relevant directions in its own countries. 

On the 18th of September “Asia and Pacific Collaboration Center” a meeting was held with the delegation of Baoshan district of Shanghai city. The delegation consisted of 6 participants and was headed by the director of Advocacy and Agitation Department Mr. Zhu Lifu. During the meeting the parties discussed cooperation in the sphere of culture, the possibility to organize tour performances of Saint Petersburg theaters in Shanghai city, the possibility of creative teams from St. Petersburg to participate in international festival in Shanghai, the possibility of creative teams from China to participate in international festivals in St. Petersburg. The parties agreed on further exchange of information about cultural activities and events held in the cities, about selection of creative teams for these events in its own cities and countries.   

On the 25th of September in “Asia and Pacific Collaboration Center” a meeting was held with the delegation of Haidian district of Beijing city People’s Government. The delegation consisted of 6 participants and was headed by the district deputy mayor Mr. Liu Shenguo. During the meeting the delegation became familiar with Russian educational system: secondary general education system, secondary vocational education system, higher education system, with conducting of exams and conditions of enrollment in higher education institutions in Russia. The parties agreed on the establishment of cooperation in the fields of education, tourism, and also on the organization of tour performances of St. Petersburg theaters and philharmonic in Beijing city. The meeting was also attended by the representatives of St. Petersburg’s universities. 

On the 28th of September in “Asia and Pacific Collaboration Center” a meeting was held with the delegation of Suzhou city Government. The delegation consisted of 8 participants and was headed by the deputy chief of People’s Government of Suzhou Mr. Cao Houling. During the meeting the delegation got acquainted with the current state of investment environment development in St. Petersburg, successful projects with foreign investors, current investment projects in St. Petersburg. Also the delegation of Suzhou city Government presented new logistics and industrial park of Xiancheng district of Suzhou city. As a result of the meeting the parties agreed to look for potential partner companies for further development of cooperation between two cities.  

On the 29th of September “Asia and Pacific Collaboration Center” organized a meeting with the delegation of Xining city Government. The delegation consisted of 6 participants and was headed by the Vice mayor of Xining city Mr. Ma Zhuning. The purpose of the visit was to examine economic situation in Russia, share experience with each other in the field of trade, to discuss possible joint projects in the fields of education, culture, science and technology. The parties mapped out further actions for cooperation development and agreed on proving information about companies of two cities that are looking for partners. 

On the 29th of September in “Asia and Pacific Collaboration Center” a meeting was held with the delegation of Xi’an city Government. The delegation consisted with 6 participants and was headed by the Vice mayor of Xi’an People’s Government Mr. Li Yuan. During the meeting the discussion of logistics and e-commerce took place. Also the parties discussed the current state of trade and economic cooperation between Russia and China, shared experience with each other. The delegation from PRC presented International trade and logistics park of Xi’an city. The parties agreed to continue information cooperation and discussed possible joint projects in the fields of economy, trade and logistics. The meeting was also attended by logistics companies of St. Petersburg.

On the 11th of October in “Asia and Pacific Collaboration Center” a meeting was held with the delegation of Changzhou Administrative Institute. The delegation consisted of 6 participants and was headed by the Vice-dean of Changzhou Administrative Institute Mr. Wang Dinxin. The purpose of the visit was to examine Russian educational system, rules of enrollment in higher education institutions on fee-paying and free-of-charge basis. The parties discussed possible joint projects in educational field such as summer schools, language training courses, advanced studies courses, cooperation in «2+2» dual degree diploma programs, organization of the University professors’ lectures in China. The meeting was also attended by the representatives of St. Petersburg universities. 

On the 12th of October in “Asia and Pacific Collaboration Center” a meeting was held with the delegation of Hubei Academy of Social Sciences. The delegation consisted of 4 participants and was headed by the Vice-dean of Hubei Academy of Social Sciences Mr. Yang Shuming. During the meeting the parties discussed the cooperation between Hubei province and St. Petersburg in the fields of economy, trade, education, culture, and also examined tea industry in Russia. The Chinese side presented a tea produced in Hubei province. The parties agreed on the development of tea export from Hubei province to Russia. 

On the 20th of October in “Asia and Pacific Collaboration Center” a meeting was held with the delegation of Yuncheng city People’s Government. The delegation consisted of 4 participants and was headed by the General Secretary of Yuncheng city People’s Government Mr. Wang Shen. During the meeting the discussion of trade and economy cooperation development between Yuncheng city and St. Petersburg took place. The delegation made a presentation of Yuncheng city and fruit and vegetable products grown in its territory. The parties agreed on further cooperation, organization of fruit and vegetable products supply from Yuncheng city to St. Petersburg. The negotiations were also attended by St. Petersburg fruit and vegetable importing companies. 

On the 13th of November in “Asia and Pacific Collaboration Center” a meeting was held with the delegation of Qingbaijian district of Chengdu city Government. The delegation consisted of 6 participants and was headed by the Head of Qingbaijian district of Chengdu city Government Mr. Chi Yong. During the meeting Chinese delegation made a presentation of Qingbaijian district, the parties discussed possible cooperation in the fields of economy and trade, science and technology, education, organization of St. Petersburg theaters’ and philharmonic’s tour performances in Qingbaijian district. The parties mapped out first steps and agreed on further exchange. 

On the 17th of November in “Asia and Pacific Collaboration Center” a meeting was held with the delegation of Hubei Economic and Informatization Commission. The delegation consisted of 5 participants and was headed by the Party Secretary, Vice-chairman of Hubei Economic and Informatization Commission Mr. Wu Fangjun. The parties discussed the state of Russian economy and trade development, favorable tax policy for foreign investors in Russia. Also Chinese delegation was shown a presentation of St. Petersburg enterprises involved in production, export and import of refrigerating equipment and its components. As a result of the meeting the parties agreed to look for possible partners for its countries enterprises, and also to develop further cooperation in other fields.   

On the 20th of November in “Asia and Pacific Collaboration Center” a meeting was held with the delegation of Hangzhou city Central Committee of the Communist Party of China. The delegation consisted of 6 participants and was headed by the General Secretary of Hangzhou city Central Committee of the Communist Party of China Mr. Xu Ming. During the meeting the delegations discussed utilization of World Heritage sites in St. Petersburg and its preservation and restoration. Chinese delegation made a presentation of Hangzhou city and its state of development in different fields. As a result of the meeting the parties agreed to develop cooperation between St. Petersburg and Hangzhou in the fields of trade and economy, culture, education and others. The meeting was attended by St. Petersburg architects and conservation architects. 

On the 24th of November in “Asia and Pacific Collaboration Center” a meeting was held with the delegation of Jiulongpo district of Chongqing city People’s Government. The delegation consisted of 6 participants and was headed by the Deputy mayor of Jiulongpo district of Chongqing city People’s Government Mr. Zhao Wenming. The purpose of the visit was to get acquainted with investment projects and foreign investments management system, to discuss possible joint projects in the fields of logistics, industry, culture and education. Chinese delegation made a presentation of High-tech industrial zone of Chongqing city. The parties agreed to develop cooperation between St. Petersburg and Chongqing city, and especially Jiulongpo district, in the fields of economy and trade and others. 

On the 25th of November in “Asia and Pacific Collaboration Center” a meeting was held with the delegation of Sanqingshan city of Jiangxi province. The delegation consisted of 6 participants and was headed by the Senior Counsellor of Sanqingshan city Government Mr. Zhu Li. During the meeting the delegation made a presentation of Sanqingshan city, the parties discussed the possibility to cooperate in the fields of tourism, culture, education, economy and trade. The parties agreed on further exchange of information and development of cooperation between St. Petersburg and Sanqingshan city of Jiangxi province. 

On the 26^th of January “Asia and Pacific Collaboration Center” met the delegation of representatives of Puyang city, Hainan province, PRC, which was headed by vice-mayor of People Government of Puyang city, Misses Wang Zaiwen. The Chinese delegation was interested in economic and investing potential of St. Petersburg. Also some investment projects were discussed. Two sides decided to organize the permanent collaboration in terms of informing each other about any investment projects in St. Petersburg.

 On the 15^th of June “Asia and Pacific Collaboration Center” organized a meeting with the delegation of representatives of the University of Light industry of Hainan province, PRC at the University of Technology and Design. The delegation included 6 people and was headed by the CEO, Mister Zhao Weidong. The aims of the meeting were to become acquainted with the system of studying at the State University, to exchange the experience in terms of light industry, to discuss and realize the idea of signing the agreement about collaboration within the framework of the program “2+2”, dual degree diploma, to organize some lectures of professors in PRC and to realize long-term collaboration.

 On the 24^th of June “Asia and Pacific Collaboration Center” organized the meeting at the Russian Federal State Budgetary Organization “State Hydrological Institute” with the delegation of representatives of the Department of Water Industry of Sichuan province, PRC. The delegation was headed by the chief of the department, Mister Li Yonglin. The aims of the visit were to become acquainted with the Institute, to discover some specific issues of water industry in St. Petersburg, to exchange the experience in terms of implementation of water economy technologies, as well as the experience of water cleaning technologies, to discuss some possible dual projects and to realize long-term collaboration.

 On the 24^th of June “Asia and Pacific Collaboration Center” met with the delegation of representatives of People Government of Suining area, Sichuan province, PRC. The delegation was headed by the mayor of city, mister Zhuang Shanzhun. Chinese delegation presented the information of Suining area development, its history, the economic directions of local firms, social situation of population, some specific issues of trade, scientific and cultural development. During the meeting two sides also discussed the opportunity of economic collaboration in terms of the project “One Belt, One Road” and defined the possibility for collaboration between companies and organizations of St. Petersburg and Suining area. During the meeting some business representatives of St. Petersburg also participated.

 On the 5^th of July “Asia and Pacific Collaboration Center” organized a visit of the delegation of top 26 biggest trade companies, which are in realization of alcoholic beverages in China and other big companies, which buy imported products in the factory “Niva”. The aims of the meeting were to attend the factory “Niva”, to know how it works, to discover some specific features of the technics used in producing alcohol and the discussion of future possible collaboration.

 On the 9^th of September “Asia and Pacific Collaboration Center” organized a meeting with the delegation of representatives from Shanxi province consisted with 3 people, headed by the general secretary of “The Pharmacy corporation Shanxi” – mister Yang Huaiun and “The Center of phototherapy of Irina Philippova”, headed by the director of the center I.A. Philippova. During the meeting both sides discussed some issues on creating a joint production process. It would produce some medications and biological active admixtures, which would be based on medicinal herbs and mushrooms. Also they discussed some issues on joint researches and agreed on bilateral collaboration in distribution of the product of partner in their countries.

 On the 20^th of September “Asia and Pacific Collaboration Center” organized a meeting in the “Library of Mayakovski” between the representatives of St. Petersburg’s photo society and the Delegation of Photo Federation of Zhejiang province, PRC, which was headed by Mister Lu Goping. During the meeting delegations discussed the development of photo art in Russia, exchanged their experiences in using new technologies during photo making. Also during the meeting in the Library the exhibition of the most famous representatives of Photo Federation of Zhejiang province was organized. Both sides agreed on future collaboration, joint organization of photo exhibitions and seminars about photo art.

 On the 10^th of October “Asia and Pacific Collaboration Center” organized a meeting of St. Petersburg University of the Humanities and Social Science and the Delegation of State Admission Committee of Yunnan province University, PRC. The delegation was headed by Misses Zhu Jinling. The aims of meeting were to get know the work system of St. Petersburg University of the Humanities and Social Science, to explore their admission system, their preparation classes before entering the university, to exchange their experiences in the preparation of students for exams and to prepare long-term collaboration.

 On the 12^th of October “Asia and Pacific Collaboration Center” organized a meeting at Federal State Scientific Establishment “Berg State Research Institute on Lake and River Fisheries” with the delegation of the Department of Disposition of Pollution and of Cleaning the Taihu lake, PRC. The delegation consisted of 6 people and was headed by the chief of the department Mister Wang Xiang. During the meeting they explored the work of the Institute in the field of organizing complex eco researches, exchanged their experiences in the field of using water resources, in the cleaning the water, in the using some modern technologies during research and both sides discussed the possibility of future collaboration.

 On the 25^th of October “Asia and Pacific Collaboration Center” organized a meeting on the TV channel “St. Petersburg” with the delegation of big TV and radio companies of Jangxi, Fujian, Hubei provinces, PRC. The delegation consisted of 8 people and was headed by the general director of International Project of News Corporations of Hubei province, Missis Qu Lina. The delegation became acquainted with TV development in St. Petersburg, shared the experience in using new technologies. During the meeting both sides discussed the possibility of organizing joint TV programs and projects, the possibility of sharing some programs and arranged to hold joint conferences in the field of developing TV programs and using new technologies.

 On the 6^th of December “Asia and Pacific Collaboration Center” organized a meeting in agricultural company “Losevo” with the delegation from PRC, which consisted of 6 people and was headed by the CEO of company “Agrobusiness” of Jiangsu province, Mister Li Chunjiang. During the meeting Chinese delegation attended milk farm and milk converting factory “Losevo”. The main aims of the meeting were to become acquainted with some specific features of agriculture of Leningrad area, with 10 years’ history of development and some specific part of ruling of “Losevo” company. Both sides agreed to continue collaboration and invited Russian delegation to visit China. The meeting was also attended by mass media representatives of St. Petersburg. 

March 27, 2015: Asia and Pacific Collaboration Center held a meeting with representatives of the Committee on Housing Development of Jiangxi Province. Environmental and energy-saving construction is gaining strength in China. The State pays great attention to environmental issues and energy saving, including in the construction of residential houses. The purpose of the visit of the delegation from Jiangsu in St. Petersburg was to establish cooperation with the St. Petersburg enterprises in the construction of eco-housing, the use of energy-saving technologies and alternative sources of heating homes.

April, 1 2015: with the support of Asia and Pacific Collaboration Center the round table discussion with representatives of the Department of Justice of the Jiangsu province took place in the Office of the Federal Bailiff Service of Saint Petersburg. The Chinese side has got acquainted with the history and  activity of the Federal Bailiff Service of St. Petersburg, the two parties launched an exchange of experiences on enforcement of judicial decisions regarding administrative offenses, in particular, administrative detention and mandatory community service.

January

January, 15: with the assistance of Asian and Pacific collaboration center (APCC) the meeting in "State Research Institute of Lake and River Fisheries" of St. Petersburg with a delegation of representatives of the Office of Fisheries and Oceanology, Guangdong Province, China, consisting of 6 persons, headed by the Deputy Secretary General, Mr. Qu Jashu, took place. During the meeting there was an acquaintance with the work of Institute in the field of providing complex ecosystem research, experience exchange in reproduction of aquatic biological resources, technology development of fish farming, the use of modern equipment for research and cultivation of fish. In the end of the meeting both sides discussed the opportunity of cooperation.

March

March, 3: with the assistance of APCC the meeting in JSC “Lenmetrogiprotrans” with the delegation of “Xian Metro Corporation”, China, consisting of 6 persons, headed by Deputy Director General Mr. Gu Chanan, took place. The visit of Chinese delegation to Russia was caused by the program of expanding the subway network in Xian, the length of which should be 251,8 km by 2020. Also it will connect the city center with the suburbs and the international airport. The aim of the visit was to share experience in designing of the subway, preparation of the project, development architectural solutions, attraction of St. Petersburg’s specialists to participate in Xian projects.

March, 17: the meeting in Asia and Pacific Collaboration center with the delegation of the Chamber of Commerce of Tianjin, China, consisting of 6 members, headed by the Deputy Director General Mr. Xu Zhen. Both sides presented St. Petersburg’s and Tianjin’s companies, met St. Petersburg’s production, shared information materials and agreed to cooperate. The meeting was attended by the representatives of St. Petersburg business.

June, 4: the meeting in Asia and Pacific Collaboration center with the delegation of heads of the Department of Commerce of Hunan Province, China, consisting of 3 persons, headed by the Deputy Chairman, Mrs. Li Weiqing.  During the negotiations the Chinese side has met the industrial potential of St. Petersburg, the major export directions, the parties exchanged their views on participation in exhibitions and conferences in St. Petersburg and Hunan in 2015.

June, 5: with the assistance of APCC the meeting at the Committee for Natural Resources, Environment and Ecological Safety of St. Petersburg Administration with the delegation of heads of corporates executives on environmental protection of cities and provinces of China, consisting of 13 persons, headed by the Chairman, Deputy Secretary of Science and Technology Ecological Corporation of Wuhan city, Hubei Province, Mr. Y Jie, took place.  The purpose of the visit was to get acquainted with the environmental policy of St. Petersburg, environmental law, the formation of ecological culture of the population of St. Petersburg, the support of environmental research and industrial organizations; presentation of the experience and achievements of Chinese environmental enterprises; to discuss cooperation in the field of training of environmental specialists in Russia and China, the use of Russian environmental technologies in China, participation in joint projects.

June, 5: with the assistance of APCC the meeting with the delegation in SUE “Vodokanal of St. Petersburg” took place, The aim of the meeting was to  familiarize with the use of advanced methods of water treatment and disposal of sewage sludge, the work of urban water supply systems, sanitation, disinfection technology and purification of drinking water; presentation of the experience and achievements of Chinese environmental companies, discussing cooperation in the field of training of environmental specialists in Russia and China, the use of Russian environmental technologies in China.

June, 7: the meeting in Asia and Pacific Collaboration center with the delegation of leaders of Hubei Province and representatives of Hubei’s companies, China, consisting of 10 persons, headed by the Vice-Secretary of the People’s Government of Hubei Province, Mr. Cheng Yunwen. During the meeting the sides discussed prospects of development of relationship between St. Petersburg and Wuhan city, Hubei Province in the field of new technologies, engineering, alternative energy, small and medium-sized businesses. The sides shared the views on the planned opening of the Russian Consulate in the Wuhan city, as well as the establishment of the direct flights between Wuhan and Moscow. The meeting was attended by representatives of scientific and industrial companies and travel business of St. Petersburg.

 July, 14: with the assistance of APCC, the meeting at the Financial Committee of St. Petersburg with the heads of Financial Committee of Shanghai, China, consisting of 6 persons, headed by the Deputy Chairman Mr. Ma Zhang Wen, was hold. The purpose of the visit was to study the financial system of Russia, research the financial and economic experience of development of Russia, search for cooperation opportunities.

July, 17: with the assistance of APCC the meeting in the Exhibition Center St. Petersburg Union of Artists with the representatives of Gendan Institute of Beijing University of Technology, China, composed of 21 members headed by the Director of the Institute of Graphic Design Mr. Gao Syueman. The aim of the visit was to meet with the activities of the Union of Artists of St. Petersburg, to discuss the prospects of cooperation and relations.

July, 23: the meeting in the Asia and Pacific Collaboration center with the heads of Tax Committee of Hubei province, China, composed of 6 persons headed by the Chairman Mr. Xu Jianguo. During the meeting the Chinese side met the structure of the Federal Tax Service of the Russian Federation, the system of federal, regional and local taxes, including business taxes, property taxes, organizations and individuals, the sides exchanged  their views on the reform of the tax system in Russia and China. The meeting was attended by representatives of the Audit Chamber of St. Petersburg.

July, 24: with the assistance of APCC the meeting at the "Venice of the North" (St. Petersburg) with a delegation of business executives for the production of wine and brandy production and trading companies of China, such as LLC "Tszyanto Liquor Management", .Lanchzhou; LLC "Tszyushan Liquor", Chzhenchzhou; LLC "Wine Investment Management", Sinyan; "MinshenLiker", Luchzhou; LLC "Huafu Wine", Chzhoukou, etc., consisting of 40 persons headed by Director General of "Trading Company Veyzhan", Baoding, Mr. Xia Veyzhan, was arranged. The purpose of the visit was to get acquainted with the production of beverages in St. Petersburg, to discuss the prospects of cooperation and the establishment of mutually beneficial relations.

July, 25: the meeting in the Asia and Pacific Collaboration center with the delegation of agricultural companies and farms of the city of Handan, Hebei province, China, composed of 6 people, headed by the managing director of Agro-industrial park of Handan Mr. Yan Highway. During the meeting, the Chinese delegation presented its agricultural experience. Both sides discussed issues of supplying St. Petersburg of fruits and vegetables, tea, meat delicacies. After the meeting an agreement of intent was signed. The meeting was also attended by wholesalers and purchasing food companies of St. Petersburg.

August

 August, 14: the meeting in the Asia and Pacific Collaboration center with the delegation of heads of the Commission of the development and reforms of Zhejiang province, China, consisted of 6 people, headed by the Deputy Director Mr. Huang Yong. During the meeting, there was an acquaintance with the economic development of St. Petersburg and Zhejiang, the exchange of views on the development of e-commerce, support of technology parks and hi-tech zones, computerization of society and industry. Both sides agreed to a return visit. Representatives of St. Petersburg technology parks also attended the meeting.

August, 27: with the assistance of APCC, the meeting in the Pushkin District Court of St. Petersburg with a delegation of the Supreme People’s Court of China of Henan Province of 6 people, headed by the Vice-Chairman Mr. Tian Liwen, was arranged. As a part of the visit, there was a tour in the new building of Court and an acquaintance with the judicial system and legal proceeding in Russia. Both sides exchanged their experience in training, selection and upgrading, informatization of judges and courts in general, special features of proceeding in criminal cases.

September

September, 1: the meeting in the Asia and Pacific Collaboration center with the delegation of leaders of the People’s Government  of Xiangning, Hubei Province, China, consisted of 6 people, headed by the Vice-Major Mr. Zheng Fatsung. During the meeting, the Chinese delegation presented industrial and trade potential and opportunities of  Xiangning. The parties discussed the supply of tea on the North-Western market of Russia. The meeting was attended by the representatives of purchasing food companies of St. Petersburg.

September, 1: with the assistance of APCC, the meeting in “The Direction Office of the Saint Petersburg Flood Prevention Facility Complex by the Ministry of Regional Development of the Russian Federation” with the delegation of representatives of the Department  of Water Resources of Jiangxi Province, China, of 6 people, headed by the Deputy Chairman Mr. Luo Xiaoyun, was held. The purpose of the visit was to know  the Direction of protective structures, to exchange experience in following issues: the complex of  protective structures, technical specification, the system of water level monitoring, the possibility of participation of St. Petersburg specialists in the process of construction of the hydraulic protection structures of Jiangxi Province.

September, 2: with the assistance of APCC, the meeting at the Committee for the infrastructure improvement of St. Petersburg with the delegation of 4 members, headed by the Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Public Utilities Xian, China, Mr. Xue Wuping was arranged. During the meeting there was an exchange of experiences on the content objects of an accomplishment in St. Petersburg and Xi'an, namely repair, maintenance and cleaning of roads, sidewalks, bridges and other road facilities; content sewer storm-water systems and heating mains; the introduction of new systems for monitoring and cleaning of the road network; legislation in this area.

September, 4: the meeting in the Asia and Pacific Collaboration center with the representatives of investment and production companies of Hunan Province, China, consisting of 9 members, led by the President of the investment company, Mr. Kong Xiangjie. During the meeting the sides discussed the development of small and medium-sized businesses in St. Petersburg and Hunan, specialists of the Asia and Pacific Collaboration center held the presentation of the industrial and scientific-technical potential of St. Petersburg, the Chinese side expressed interest in establishing of cooperation with the St. Petersburg enterprises. The parties agreed to hold a business mission of St. Petersburg companies in Hunan in 2015.

September, 5: with the assistance of APCC, the meeting in the Vasileostrovskiy District Court of St. Petersburg judges of the Supreme People's Court of China in Jiangxi province, consisting of 6 persons, headed by the Chief Justice, Ms. Li Lijun, took place. During the visit, there was an acquaintance with the judicial system and legal proceedings in Russia, cooperation and exchange of experiences on the following issues: criminal proceedings; Institute of the victim in criminal proceedings; the legal basis for victims of criminal offenses; agencies to assist victims of criminal offenses.

September, 15: with the assistance of APCC, the meeting in the SUE “Vodokanal of St. Petersburg” with the heads of municipal committees for the protection of the environment of Zhejiang Province, China, with 6 people, headed by the Chairman, Mr. Xu Zhen, took place. During the meeting held on the establishment of cooperation and exchange of experiences on the following issues: monitoring and control water pollution and industrial effluents; methods of treatment and disinfection of drinking water; operation of wastewater treatment plants. The parties signed a draft partnership agreement on cooperation in the field of training and implementation of joint projects for water purification.

September, 16: the meeting in the Asia and Pacific Collaboration center with the representatives of the Municipal Bureau of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation of Zhangzhou, China, consisting of 6 persons headed by the Deputy Secretary, Mr. He Shaohua and vice mayor of Zhangzhou Mr. Lee Yazhun. The Chinese side held a presentation of Zhangzhou, commercial, cultural and tourist potential, met with industry, science and culture of St. Petersburg, the sides agreed to assist enterprises of the two cities in development cooperation. September, 17: with the assistance of APCC, the meeting at the Public Council for Small Business Development under the Governor of St. Petersburg with representatives of the Office of Industry and Commerce in Guangzhou, China, consisting of 5 persons headed by Chairman Mr. Zhang Jianhua. The sides exchanged experiences on the following issues: the protection of the rights and interests of entrepreneurs; assistance to companies in the fight against unfair competition; development of programs to support small and medium-sized businesses in Russia and China; participate in the development of legislation to protect the interests of entrepreneurs; establish cooperation and mutual consultation in the future.

September, 17: with the assistance of APCC, the meeting at the territorial body of the Federal State Statistics Service in St. Petersburg and Leningrad Region with the delegation of the Committee on Statistics, Anhui Province, China, consisting of 5 people, headed by the Party secretary of the committee, Mr. Qian Xiaokang, was held. Purpose of the visit was to get acquainted with the work of Petrostat, cooperation and exchange of experiences on the following issues: the direction of official statistics; research methodology and criteria for classification; reporting system in Russia and China; system of electronic reporting of businesses and industries; Statistics sphere of cultural industry, accounting methods; the role of statistics in the Russian and Chinese society, development prospects.

September, 19: with the assistance of APCC, the meeting in the "Orkla Brands Russia" with the heads of factories for the production of chocolate products in China, such as: Confectionary Zaozhuang, Shandong Chocolate Factory, Confectionary Dagong, Confectionary Tengzhou, composed of 37 members, headed by Mr. Lee Daovey, was successfully held. Purpose of the visit was to learn with the chocolate market in St. Petersburg, the exchange of experiences in the organization of the production process, the introduction of modern technological equipment, quality control standards, to discuss the possibilities of cooperation, including the supply of goods to China, and the establishment of mutually beneficial relations.

September, 26: the meeting in the Asia and Pacific Collaboration center with representatives of the Financial and Economic Committee of the National People's Congress of Hubei Province, China, with 6 people, headed by the Secretary Mr. Gu Duntsay. During the meeting the sides made presentations of Industry and Trade of the two regions shared their experience in programs to support small and medium-sized businesses, agreed to promote cooperation in the enterprises of the two regions.

September, 29: with the assistance of APCC, the meeting at the Saint Petersburg State Forest Technical University named by S.M. Kirov with representatives of the Research Institute of Forestry, Shanxi Province, China, consisting of 5 people headed by Advisor to the Rector Mr. Li Xinping, took place. During the visit there was an acquaintance with the history of MSFU, a system of training for the forestry, exchange of experience in research in the following areas: management and reproduction of forest resources; investigation of the stability and diversity of forests; Technology Environmental Engineering forests; to discuss the possibilities of scientific and educational cooperation in the field of forestry with the province of Shanxi.

October, 21: meeting in the Asia and Pacific Collaboration center with the delegation from the Standing Committee of the People’s Comgress of Yueqing city, Zhejiang province, China, consisting of 5 members, headed by the officer Mr. Hu Chengjian. During the meeting the presentation of Yueqing’s touristic and cultural potential was held. Two parties have discussed the issues of trade and economic development of two cities. The representatives of St. Petersburg touristic companies participated at the meeting. 

October, 22: with the assistance of APCC, the meeting at the Committee for science and high education of Saint Petersburg with the Chinese delegation of heads from the Committee for science and technologies of Xian city, Shaanxi province, consisting of 6 members, headed by Xian Vice-mayor Ms. Li Jing, was held. The purpose of the visit was to get acquainted with St. Petersburg as the biggest scientific and educational center of Russia, make presentation of Xian’s scientific potential and exchange opinion in the following fields: system of scientific cadre education, support of scientific and innovation enterprises, realization of hogh technology industries, bilateral cooperation.  

October, 28: with the assistance of APCC, the meeting at the Technological Park “Polythechnichesky” of Saint Petersburg State Polytechnical University with the Chinese delegation, consisting of 10 members, headed by the chief of the Chinese People’s Political and Consultative Conference of Jiangbei district of Chongqing Ms. Liu Xueqiong, was arranged. The purpose of the visit was to get acquainted with the work of the scientific and industrial enterprises in the Technopark, holding of the Chongqing industrial and scientific potential; the sides have discussed the issues of cooperation with Chongqing companies.   

October, 28: meeting in the Asia and Pacific Collaboration center with the delegation of representatives from the Direction office of pharmacies and food of Hunan province, China, consisting of 6 members, headed by the Vice-chief Mr. Rao Jian. The purpose of the visit was to start cooperation with St. Petersburg enterprises, producing medical equipment, medical technologies. The Chinese side has made the presentation of pharm field of Hunan, the parties have discussed the issues of quality control and certification of medical products. The representative of the St. Petersburg certification center took part at the meeting.

 November, 3: the meeting in the Asia and Pacific Collaboration center with the delegation from Chinese Federation of emigration in Ningbo, consisting of 4 members, headed by the Deputy director Mr. Shu Xiang.  During the meeting the Chinese party has conducted the presentation of Ningbo economy, culture and tourism. APCC specialists have presented economic and scientific potential of Saint Petersburg, the sides have discussed the issues of development of Chinese business in Russia, education of Chinese students and postgraduates in St. Petersburg.

November, 8: the meeting in the Asia and Pacific Collaboration center with the delegation from the People’s Government of Longgang district of  Shenzhen city, China, consisting of 6 members, headed by the Vice-mayor Mr. Hu Jiadong. During the meeting the parties have discussed the issues of St. Petersburg development and planning, the Chinese party has acquainted with the St. Petersburg Strategy of cultural heritage consolidation, participation of citizens in the city architectural development. Moreover APCC has thanked the Longgang district Administration for invitation and hospitability paid to St.Petersburg scientific delegation during the New technologies EXPO CHTF-2014 in Shenzhen. The parties have agreed to further develop cooperation. The representatives of St. Petersburg architectural and scientific companies participated at the meeting.   

November, 17: with the assistance of APCC, the meeting at the Russian State Pedagogical University named by A.I. Herzen with the delegation from the Department of education of Yunnan province, China, consisting of 6 members, headed by the deputy director Ms. Wang Jianying, was arranged. The aim of the visit was to get acquainted with the educational system at the University, the programs of international academic and student exchange, distance education, as well as programs of Russian language as a foreign language education, the parties discussed the opportunity of partnership with the Yunnan universities. The Chinese delegation has visited museum, library and media complex of the University. 

November, 21: the meeting in the Asia and Pacific Collaboration center with the Suzhou city delegation of businessmen, consisting of 4 members, headed by the Deputy Secretary of Suzhou People’s government. During the meeting the parties have discussed the questions of trade and economic cooperation between two cities, extending of scientific and educational contacts. The Saint Petersburg businessmen also participated the meeting.

December, 12: with the assistance of APCC, the meeting at JSC “Russian Fishing company” (Moscow city) with the delegation of Qinzhou city Administration, Guangxi province, China, consisting of 3 members, headed by the chief Mr. Cao Kunhua, took place. The aim of the negotiations was to get acquainted with the Russian seafood market, holding of presentation of Qinzhou fishing industry, establishing of cooperation in the field of delivering of fresh and fresh-frozen seafood from China to Russia, which will be supported by the Administration of Guangxi province.  

December, 16: the meeting in the Asia and Pacific Collaboration center with the delegation of the representatives of the Standing Committee of the People’s Congress of Shengzhou city, Zhejiang province, China, consisting of 6 members, headed by the Deputy Director Mr. Yu Yuejiang. During the meeting, there was held the presentation of Shengzhou as the Chinese center for producing of textile goods (ties, silk scarfs), agricultural goods and machines. The parties have agreed to assist each other in reaching of cooperation between enterprises of two cities.

December, 19: with the assistance of APCC, the meeting at the Saint Petersburg State Polytechnical University with the delegation of representatives from the University of Nationalities Beifang of Ningxia-Hui autonomous region, China, consisting of 6 members, headed by the Deputy Rector  Mr. Min Wenyi, was arranged. The purpose of the visit was to discuss the issues of inter-universities partnership in the spheres of academic, student, scientific and research cooperation.

January, 25: with the assistance of APCC the meeting in the Energy and Engineering Committee of St. Petersburg with the delegation of Electric Power Holding “Huazhun” Henan Province, China, consisting of 4 people, headed by the Vice - Chairman of the Development and Reform Committee, province Henan, Mr. Guo Xiaohe, took place. During the meeting the policy of St. Petersburg in the functioning and development of the heating system, the organization of work for the preparation and providing the conditions for heating season, the introduction of new energy systems (heating pipes, etc.), investment in heating facilities were presented.

February, 4: the meeting in APCC with the delegation of the Bureau of Justice, Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province, China, consisting of 6 members, headed by the Chairman, Mr. Wu Shanji, was held. During the meeting, the sides exchanged experience on the following issues: organization of the system of legal aid to the population, sources of funding of legal aid and legal services, training, increasing of legal literacy, popularization of legal education, free legal assistance to certain categories of citizens, work of notary offices. The two parties also discussed the possibility of Chinese lawyers’ internship in one of St. Petersburg universities.

April, 2: the meeting in APCC with the delegation of Shanghai Work Safety Office representatives, China, consisting of 6 persons, headed by Director Mr. Wu Zhengwei. During the meeting, the Chinese delegation learnt the experience of St. Petersburg in the control of safety of work, certification of workplaces, legislative regulation of compensation for the hard work, work in hazardous or dangerous jobs.

May, 8: with the assistance of APCC the meeting at the Headquarters of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in St. Petersburg with the delegation of representatives from the Office of Civil Defense, Anhui Province, China, consisting of 6 members, headed by the advisor Mr. Ye Ruiqiang, took place. The purpose of the visit was the exchange of experiences with Russian counterparts on the following issues: the organization of the civil defense system, management structure of the Russian Emergencies Headquarters in St. Petersburg, protection of population and territories in case of natural disasters, organization of emergency response and emergency assistance, organization of emergency services, conducting training exercises, development of international cooperation. The Chinese side expressed hope on further cooperation in the field of prevention of emergencies and congratulated Russian colleagues with the forthcoming holiday - Victory Day.

May, 29: in APCC the meeting with the delegation of the Zhejiang Province Statistics Committee, China, consisting of 6 persons, headed by Deputy Chairman Mr. Huang Jianshen, took place. During the meeting, the parties exchanged experience on the work of statistical authorities in Russia and China, providing of mandatory statistical reporting companies, system of training in St. Petersburg, discussed the possibility of training of Chinese specialists in the St. Petersburg University.

June, 3: in Moscow State Academic Art Institute named by V.I. Surikov the meeting with the delegation of representatives of the Art Institute of Shandong Province, China, consisting of 5 persons, headed by the rector, Mr. Zhang Zhimin, took place. During the visit, the delegation learnt the history of MGAHI, faculties and educational programs, exchanged experience in the educational process, educational exchange, the parties pointed out the areas for cooperation.

June, 17: with assistance of APCC the meeting with the delegation of the National Congress of Zunyi City, Guizhou Province, China, consisting of 5 persons, headed by the General Secretary, Mr. Tian Xilong, was held. During the negotiations, the parties discussed questions of city public transport management, development of electric transport (trams, trolley buses, metro), met with the project for the construction of the Western High-Speed Diameter, Line Skytrain. The Chinese delegation expressed interest to participate in the investment infrastructure projects in St. Petersburg.

June, 21: the meeting in APCC with the delegation from the Tourism Department, Fujian Province, China, as well as from travel agencies of Fujian, composed of 12 members, headed by the Deputy Director, Mr. Chen Weiping, took place. During the meeting, the Chinese party presented the cultural and tourist potential of the city, Fujian Province, presented the ancient history and culture of the province, cultural heritage. The parties discussed the possibility of holding a seminar in Fujian with invitation of the Petersburg travel companies. The parties have signed an agreement on cooperation in tourism field.

June, 24: the meeting in APCC with the delegation of the Association of Small and Medium Business of China, consisting of 4 people, headed by President Mr. Li Qibin, took place. During the meeting, the Russian party presented scientific and industrial prospects of St. Petersburg, the parties exchanged experiences in the field of state support of small and medium-sized businesses in Russia and China, providing of grants, loans, subsidies. The parties signed a framework agreement on cooperation, under which they can search for business partners in St. Petersburg and China.

July, 4: the meeting in APCC with the representatives of National Representative Assembly delegations of Guangzhou city, Guangdong province, China, composed of 6 representatives, headed by the Deputy Head of the district Mr. Wang Huanqing, was held. During the meeting the parties presented the manufacturing potential and economic results of two cities, parties discussed the possibilities of cooperation between the manufacturing and trade companies of Saint Petersburg and Guangzhou, discussed the return visit of Saint Petersburg business to Guangzhou in order to consolidate collaboration and participate in international exhibitions.

July, 12: in assistance with APCC the meeting in CJSC “Kronimpexport” with the representatives of the Port companies of Yichang City, China, consisting of 17 people, headed by the chief of the Office of Ports and Shipping of Yichang City, Mr. Zhang Chisong, was held. The Chinese party visited the construction plant of St. Petersburg new port; the parties discussed the issues of sea-port complex construction in St. Petersburg, port management, established cooperation.

July, 15: in assistance with APCC the meeting with the representatives of National Representative Assembly delegations, Tonglu district, Zhejiang Province, China, consisting of 6 persons, headed by the Deputy Head, Mr. Pan Limin, was held. During the meeting, Tonglu district was presented: economic, cultural and tourism potential. The parties discussed the possibility of cooperation with St. Petersburg trade and tourism companies, as well as the creative teams to develop cultural exchange.

July, 15: in assistance with APCC the meeting in the Finance Committee of St. Petersburg with the delegation of the Committee of Finance of Shanghai, China, consisting of 6 persons, headed by the Deputy Chief Ms. Zhong Zhingqu, took place. During the meeting, the sides exchanged experiences in the following fields: financial and fiscal policy of St. Petersburg, improving the efficiency of budget expenditures, strategies for increasing of incomes of St. Petersburg and Shanghai population, improving of financial literacy.

July, 23: in assistance with APCC the meeting in OJSC "Third Park" St. Petersburg with the delegation of the Bus Holding of Tianjin City, China, consisting of 6 persons, headed by the Chief Mr. Guo Zhi, took place. During the visit, the parties exchanged experience on the following issues: the system of management organization of transportation; improving the quality of public transport services, modernization of the bus fleet, environmental standards and prospects of using of new fuels.

August, 2: in APCC the meeting with the delegation of Association for Science and Technology representatives of Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, China, composed of 6 representatives, headed by the General Secretary Mr. Tian Jianxin took place. During the meeting the politics of St. Petersburg in the field of promotion and development of science and innovation, stimulation of the influx of young scientists, implementation of high-tech cluster industries, research and production centers in the suburbs of St. Petersburg - Science City - were discussed. The Chinese party invited the St. Petersburg delegation to visit Hangzhou with the aim of visiting science parks, possible participation of Russian scientists in mutual projects with China, visiting the exhibitions in the field of science and technologies in Hangzhou City in 2014.

August, 4: in assistance with APCC the meeting in St. Petersburg Children’s Camp “Druzhnih” with the group of 70 pupils of the Palace of Arts of China under the Ministry of Culture of China took place. The Program of the visit included: the meeting of Russian and Chinese pupils and teachers, excursion around the territory of Children’s Camp, acquaintance with the creative teams and clubs. Children of both parties made a performance and also took part in the drawing competition. The parties agreed to continue cooperation in the future.

August, 5: in APCC the meeting of Wenshan city delegation, Yunnan Province, China, composed of 6 representatives, headed by the Wenshan Mayor Mr. Li Jiasong, took place. During the meeting the parties discussed the development of agriculture in St. Petersburg and Leningrad region, the development of stock raising, poultry, vegetable farming, cultivation of wheat, oats. Moreover, the parties exchanged the experience in the field of state support for farmers, attraction of doctors and teachers to work in the countryside. The Chinese party told about the experience of Wenshan in this area, and has also expressed interest to participate in the annual exhibition "Agrorus" in St. Petersburg.

August, 7: with the assistance of APCC the meeting in the North-west regional office of the Russian Union of Tour Operators with the delegation of the city of Suzhou, China, consisting of 6 representatives of tourism and recreational companies, headed by the Chairman of the Committee on Trade and Tourism of Suzhou Ms. Gu Jianying, was held. During the visit, the urban development policies, the tourism sector, and investment in the development of tourist facilities were presented. The parties held presentations of tourist and cultural perspectives of the two cities and identified areas of cooperation.

August, 9: in APCC the meeting with the delegation of the People's Government of Beijing, Xicheng District, consisted of 6 representatives, headed by Vice - Mayor, Mr. Li Yan, was held. During the meeting the sides exchanged experiences in the fields of cultural and architectural monuments protection, legislation in this area, management, maintenance, repair of cultural institutions (museums, theaters, Philharmonic, etc.). In addition, the parties discussed the issues of attracting of foreign investment in the construction of residential and infrastructure facilities in St. Petersburg and Beijing.

August, 20: the meeting was held in APCC with the delegation of the Organizing Committee of Baoshan International Folk Festival in Shanghai (Baoshan District) consisting of 6 representatives headed by the Director, Ms. Tao Xiafang. During the meeting, the representatives of the Chinese delegation made a presentation of the Festival, discussed the subjects, the conditions of participation, invited a delegation of St. Petersburg to take part. In addition, the Russian side has submitted a list of exhibitions, seminars, key festivals traditionally held in St. Petersburg and invited the delegation of business and creative teams of the sister-city of Shanghai to take active part in them.

August, 22: with the assistance of APCC the meeting at the sanatorium "Baltic Coast" with a delegation from China consisting of 11 heads of health centers headed by the Director of the Bureau of sanatorium treatment of the Ministry of Health of China (Beijing), Ms. Sun Qunian. The purpose of the visit was to learn the history and work of the sanatorium, an organization of health programs, the parties shared experiences and discussed opportunities of cooperation with China sanatoriums.

August, 30: APCC met with the delegation of the Hongkou District Prosecutor's Office of Shanghai, consisting of 6 representatives, headed by the district prosecutor, Ms. Chen Siqun. Russian and Chinese sides discussed issues of commercial dispute resolution in civil proceedings, the negotiations, the peace agreement, acquainted with the work of Arbitration courts in Russia and China. Discussed the role of mediation, key challenges and options for the resolution of disputes in the field of commerce between Russian trading companies and manufacturers of China.

September, 3: in APCC the meeting with the delegation of Nantong city of Jiangsu province, P.R.C., was held. The delegation consisted of 6 representatives and was headed by the head of Political Consultative Conference of Nantong Mr. Yao Guojun. During the meeting the city of Nangtun was presented as a big port center, situated at the mouth of the Yangtze River. Chinese companies told us about the development of light industry, electronics, automotive industry, invited Saint-Petersburg developers to participate in the developing project on the coast of the East China Sea. The parties expressed interest in the development of further cooperation and agreed about the return visit of St. Petersburg businessmen to Nantong in 2014.

September, 16: the meeting in APCC with the delegation of Energy Investment Company of Chongqing, P.R.C., took place. The delegation consisted of 6 representatives, and was headed by the CEO Mr. Tang Shunghong. During the meeting the parties discussed the issues of management system organization in big Russian and Chinese enterprises, the the management control, recruitment process, operation of the labor unions, attraction the foreign specialists for work in the companies. Moreover, the parties exchanged the opinions about the issues of retraining of Chinese senior managers, in particular, in St. Petersburg Graduate School of management and in St. Petersburg State University of economics and finances.

September, 20: in assistance with APCC the meeting in Central Archive of Literature and Arts of St. Petersburg with the delegation of representatives of State Hubei Archive, China, was held. The Chinese delegation composed of 5 representatives, was headed by the CEO Mr. Xiong Chengjia. During the meeting the parties have discussed the system of archive management, computerization of archive, ensuring the safety of documents, conducting the educational programs, exchanged experience and discussed the issues of making mutual exhibitions and expositions.

September, 23: in APCC the meeting with the State Assets Administration of the State Council of the PRC’ delegation was held. The Chinese delegation consisted of 6 representatives, headed by the Deputy Director Mr. Sun Yuping. During the negotiations parties exchanged the experience of rent, redemption and selling of state property and lands issues in Russia and China, holding the auctions, placement the orders for state demands (state purchases). Also the parties discussed the questions concerning projects investment on the basis of concession agreements, public-private partnership in the construction and reconstruction fields.

September, 25: in APCC the meeting with CPC magazine “Qiushi” representatives delegation headed by the chief editor Mr. Tao Hua. During the meeting the parties discussed the topic of socio-economic development of Russia and China, the roles of modern media in society, exchanged the experience in the field of broadcasting and media development and the development of legislation in this sphere. The parties exchanged the press materials about St. Petersburg and China.

September, 26: in APCC the meeting with the delegation of the heads of Shanghai People’s Government in Zhabei District, China which composed of 6 representatives with the Deputy Chairman Mr. Bao. The purpose of Chinese delegation visit was the exchange of experience in the fields of upbringing and education of children and youth, roles of schools institutions, family, educational system, culture, sports, health service. The parties exchanged experience and decided about regular meetings of the Saint Petersburg and Shanghai specialists in this field.

September, 26: in assistance with APCC the meeting in Shipbuilders Association of St. Petersburg and Leningrad region with the delegation of the leaders and members of the Federation of Fujian shipbuilders, P.R.C., composed of 8 representatives headed by the General Secretary Mr. Ling Fengfei. During the meeting in Association, the development of shipbuilding industry in Russian and existed shipbuilding industry in Fujian province were presented. Also the parties discussed the topic of export and import of container vessels, support vessels, bulk carriers, fishing vessels, patrol boats etc., experience exchange. The delegation visited the international shipbuilding and shipping exposition “Neva”.

September, 30: in assistance with APCC the meeting in OJSC “Bank Alexandrovskiy” with the delegation of Sichuan Rural Credit Union, China, composed of 6 representatives with Chairman Mr. Wan Hua, took place. During the meeting the Russian banking sector, banking services, the system of lending to small and medium-sized businesses, financial risk management were discussed, the parties exchanged experiences in carrying out of calculations in Chinese Yuan.

October, 2: in assistance with APCC in Middle School No. 376 of Moskovskiy district of Saint Petersburg and in State Kinder garden No. 23 of Moskovskiy district of Saint Petersburg the meeting of Guangdong province kinder garden and schools representatives of Guangzhou city, China, took place. The Chinese delegation consisted of 35 representatives, was headed by the President of UNESCO office in Guangzhou, Mr. Fan Da. During the visit the parties studies the Russian system of schools and preschools management, organization of educational process, holding the educational work. Also, parties exchanged the experience and agreed on further cooperation.

October, 8: in APCC the meeting with the delegation of Shanghai Health Administratio, P.R.C., consisted of 6 representatives, headed by Mr. Chen Minsheng - the Deputy-Chief Executive of Shanghai Health system, took place. During the meeting the Chinese party presented Shanghai hospitals, in particular, Shanghai Municipal hospital of traditional Chinese medicine, known in China as Tung Hua hospital, pulmonology hospital etc. The parties discussed the possibilities of conducting of the treatment courses for Russians and was made the improving of the relations.

October, 15: in APCC the meeting with the delegation of scientific and technological incubators representatives of Beijing, took place. The delegation consisted of 6 representatives, headed by the Vice-President Mr. Zhang Feng. During the meeting the Chinese party presented the techno-park and told about main activities, key projects, the terms of production placement. Apart from APCC, the presentation was made by the Senior lecturer of State University of Aerospace instrumentation. The parties discussed the possibilities of cooperation in the field of wind and solar energy turbine and adjusted the cooperation.

October, 17: in APCC the meeting with the delegation of the representatives of National People’s Congress of Zuizhun city of Jiangsu province, P.R.C. The delegation consisted of 5 representatives, headed by the Secretary of Party Committee Mr. Ying Weidong. During the meeting the parties exchanged the experience in the field of construction in the historical city center, development of city construction plan. Chinese party told about the cooperation with the Singapore companies while the restoration of historical center. The parties decided to improve the cooperation with the restoration schools of Saint-Petersburg for the purpose of exchanging the experience and educating the Chinese restorer in Saint-Petersburg.

October, 17: in assistance with APCC the meeting of the PLC “Kirovsiy zavod” (plant) with the delegation of Committee of agricultural equipment representatives of Jiangsu province, China, was held. The delegation consisted of 5 representatives, headed by Mr. Xu Shunnian. During the meeting Russian side has presented the Russian agricultural equipment market, the sides exchanged experience in the fields of modernization and mechanization of Russian and Chinese agriculture sector and development of agricultural engineering. Chinese delegation learnt the range of producing agricultural equipment at the plant. Mutual agreement of meeting at the International exposition of agricultural equipment 2014 in China was made.

October, 22: in assistance with APCC the meeting in the Institute of Public Health in Moscow with the delegation of representatives of the Beijing Committee on Family Planning took place. The delegation consisted of 4 representatives, and was headed by the Chairman of the Beijing Committee on Family Planning Mr. Wang Youxiong. During the meeting Chinese side studied the Russian experience on family planning, security of reproductive health in the sphere of family planning, exchanged the experience in the education of family planning and reproductive health and the searched the possibilities for the mutual cooperation.

November, 1: in assistance with APCC, the meeting with the representatives of Science and Innovations Committee of Tianjin Administration, P.R.C., consisted of 3 representatives, headed by the Deputy-Secretary of Tianzin Science and Innovations Committee, took place at OJSC “Farmproekt”. During the negotiations the Chinese party has acquainted with the Saint Petersburg enterprises, producing bio pharmacy, medical treatment, the parties discussed the issues of cooperation in pharmacy and biotechnology fields, exchanged the experience with Russian colleagues and pointed out the perspectives of mutual collaboration.

November, 2: APCC assisted the Russian Youth Union to arrange the meeting with the delegation of Chinese Federation of Youth, consisted of 7 representatives, headed by the Chairman Mr. Zeng Yingru. The purpose of the visit was learning and strengthening of collaboration between youth organizations, exchange of experience in the field of youth politics, youth business development, establishing of business relations and further cooperation in the field of youth politics and education of young people.

November, 11: APCC hold the meeting with the delegation of CPPCC Ningbo City representatives, P.R.C., composed of 6 people, headed by the Deputy-Secretary General Mr. Jiang Jianwei. During the meeting the Chinese party presented Ningbo city, its manufacturing, scientific, educational potential, as well as presented the development of the biggest Ningbo container port in China. Russian party presented Saint Petersburg city. The parties discussed the questions concerning the development of sport in both cities, boosting the influx of young scientists, the conditions of studying for undergraduate and graduate students in St. Petersburg universities.

November, 18: APCC held the meeting with the delegation of People’s Government of Deyang city, P.R.C., composed of 6 representatives, headed by the Mayor Mr. Chen Xinyu. During the meeting the city of Daiyan was presented as the center of heavy industry and mechanization of China. Russian side presented the key industrial branchs of Saint Petersburg (engineering, shipbuilding, metallurgy). The parties indicated the possibilities of cooperation between two cities in the sphere of alternative energetics, machine-tool construction, production of energetic and oil production equipment.

November, 22: APCC held the meeting with the representatives of Transport Committee of Hangzhou, P.R.C. The delegation consisted of 6 representatives and was headed by Mr. Fan Jianjun. During the meeting the Chinese party learnt the experience of Saint Petersburg in the sphere of arrangement of city public transport, management by the ports, airports, railway stations, building the transport infrastructure, bridges and embankments reconstruction. The representatives of Hangzhou made a presentation of the city transport sector, the projects of the highways and high-speed railways construction. The parties proved the importance of the transport specialists meetings of two cities in the future.

December, 12: in assistance with Asian and Pacific Collaboration Center of Saint Petersburg City Administration (APCC) the meeting in OJSC “Russian fishing company” (Moscow) with the delegation of Qinzhou City, Guanshi Province Administration, P.R.C., consisted of 3 representatives, headed by Mr. Zao Kunhua, was held. The purpose of the visit was presenting of fishing industry of Zinzhou, the Russian market of sea products, development of business relationships, discussing the possibilities of delivering fresh and fresh-frozen seafood from China to Russia.

December, 3: APCC held the meeting with the delegation of representatives of Ningbo Municipal government, P.R.C., which consisted of 6 people, headed by the Deputy Secretary-General Mr. Ye Wenqun. During the meeting the parties discussed the issues of St. Petersburg and Ningbo infrastructure projects development, exchanged the experience in the fields of tourism cooperation, legislative control of real estate market, as well as agreed to pay a return visit to Ningbo by the St. Petersburg delegation.
