On June 25 APCC arranged a meeting at Toyota Lexus Primorsky dealer center with the delegation of TMCI Toyota Motor (China) Investment Co., Ltd. and executives of Chinese Toyota dealer centers. The delegation included 39 people headed by Mr. Hitoshi Ohtake, Deputy Director General of TMCI Toyota Motor (China) Investment Co., Ltd. During the meeting the parties discussed the organization of work of the Toyota Lexus dealer centers in St. Petersburg and China, sales and an after-sale service features as well as possible joint projects, and agreed on further cooperation.

On August 21 APCC arranged a meeting at the Committee for Industrial Policy and Innovations of St. Petersburg with a delegation of Xiamen government consisting of 7 people headed by the member of the CPC of Xiamen, Chairman of the Xiamen CPC Organizing Committee, Mr. Chen Shenyang. During the meeting, the parties discussed the development of industry in Xiamen and St. Petersburg, as well as possible joint projects, in particular, establishing of Golden Dragon buses assembly facility in St. Petersburg. The parties agreed on further cooperation in this area.

On August 27 a meeting with a delegation of 6 representatives of the People's Government of Tszaochzhuo city, headed by the Mayor of Tszaochzhuo Mr. Zhao Zonglu was held at APCC. The meeting was attended by:

1.Director General of the TOBU Auditing Company, a member of the Audit Chamber of St. Petersburg, the official consultant of the Government of St. Petersburg and the Government of the Leningrad Region - Ekaterina Zelenskaya.

2. Director of ANO Arth Gildiya -Vladimir Protasov.

3. Director of Alfa Project - Vladislav Drozdovsky.

During the meeting, the Chinese delegation held the presentation of the Tszaochzhuo City, as well as get acquainted with the economic, scientific and technical, cultural capabilities of St. Petersburg. The parties discussed possible cooperation projects between the companies the two cities and agreed on further interaction and search of the partner companies for the companies of St. Petersburg in Tszaochzhuo.

On August 28 APCC arranged a meeting of Detskoselsky Concern with delegation of Jiangsu Agricultural Reclamation Group Co., Ltd. (China), consisting of 6 people headed by the Chairman of the Board, the Director General of Jiangsu Agricultural Reclamation Group Co., Ltd. Mr. Hu Zhaohui. During the meeting the delegation get acquainted with Detskoselsky Concern business activities and visited agricultural and dairy farms of the company.  The parties discussed possible joint projects in the agricultural industry, in particular, the organization of sunflower supplies from Russia to the People's Republic of China (Province of Jiangsu), a possibility of joint venture on the Russian territory. Summing up the meeting, the partiesagreed on further cooperation stages on the next visit of the Jiangsu Agricultural Reclamation Group Co., Ltd. delegation to St. Petersburg due to sign the road map for cooperation with Detskoselsky Concern.

On September 19 APCC arranged the presentation of agricultural products held by Gansu companies, the People's Republic of China (fruit and vegetable products). 14 Chinese supplier companies and representatives of the Government of the Province of Gansu took part in the action. On the Russian side the presentation was attended by representatives of the business of St. Petersburg.

Representative of the Province of Gansu government has told about the development of the province in such spheres as economy, trade, science and technology, education e t. c. The Gansu companies presented the products they manufactured and supplied. At the end of the meeting the parties discussed on possible cooperation projects, the organization of import and export of products.

On October 23, APCC arranged a meeting in SUE Vodokanal of Saint-Petersburg   with the delegation of 5 representatives of Hunan province (People's Republic of China) headed by Mr. Zhan Xiaoan, head of Hunan Water management department. During the meeting SUE Vodokanal of Saint-Petersburg held a presentation and acquainted the Chinese delegation with a city water supply system, water disposals and technology of disinfecting and water purification in St. Petersburg. Additionally, for delegation of Management of the water industry of the Hunan province there was arranged a tour to the Children's ecological center and the Water Universe Museum complex. Summing up the meeting, the parties agreed about the further exchange of information.

On October 29 APCC arranged a presentation of ceramic products held by Gansu companies, the People's Republic of China. The meeting was attended by 6 supplier companies as well as representatives of the Government Gansu province. On the Russian side the St. Petersburg business representatives took part in the meeting.

Gansu governmental officer has told about the province development in the fields of economy, trade, science and technology, education and other areas. Representatives of the Gansu companies held the presentations on their products. Summing up the meeting the parties discussed possible cooperation projects, the organization of import and export of products, as well as a possibility of manufacturing of ceramics by Gansu companies in the Leningrad Region.

On November 12 APCC arranged a meeting between Unity Auditor Association and the delegation of Jiangsu province (5 representatives) headed by the Chief Auditor of Department of the audit of Jiangsu province, Mr. Chu Zongming. Unity Auditor Association was presented at the meeting by its Chairman, Mr. Alexander Kuznetsov, and members of the council: Ms. Lyudmila Akhmedova, Mr. Artur Gazaryan, Mr. Igor Gromov, Ms. Alla Levashova and Ms. Natalia Chepik. The Chinese delegation get acquainted with the principles of the organization and conducting of auditor activity in the Russian Federation, the main aspects of the current legislation in the sphere of audit and anti-corruption. The parties exchanged experiences on efficiency increase and quality control of auditor activity.

During the visit, the parties exchanged their views on the following issues:

·        The applied professional standards of auditor activity in the Russian Federation and in the People's Republic of China.

·        Self-regulation of auditor activity in the Russian Federation, the organization of external control of quality and advanced training.

·        Interaction of state bodies and private audit companies in Russia and in the People's Republic of China.

·        The organization of tenders for elections of the auditor for the socially significant organizations including the applied anti-dumping measures, and admission conditions to professional auditor activity in Russia and in the People's Republic of China.

On November 26 APCC organized a meeting at the North-West branch of the Russian State University of justice with a delegation of Management of Intellectual Property Administration of Yunnan province, consisting of 4 people headed by Mr. Yang Jie, the Head of the planning and development of the Intellectual Property Department of Yunnan province. The Chinese delegation get acquainted with the activities of the University, the main directions of training and advanced training. The parties discussed issues of intellectual rights protection and patent law in Russia and the People's Republic of China. Summing up the meeting, parties agreed about further interaction and exchange of information.

On the 19^th of January 2016 “Asia and Pacific Collaboration Center” organized discussion panel and a presentation of delegation form Professional Technic College of Ningxia-Hui autonomy district, PRC, which was headed by vice-dean of Professional Technic college of Ningxia-Hui, mister Li Jianjun. It was held at University Polytechnic college “Radiopolytechnicum”. Representatives of Professional Technic College of Ningxia-Hui autonomy district did a presentation of some specific features of studying at college, in different directions: tourism, hotel business, economics, electronics and technic, specifics of food industries and etc. During the discussion panel both sides mentioned educational programs at their universities, specific features during studying foreign languages. As a result, both sides had a meeting, where they discussed the possibility of joint projects, including some researches, exchange programs and future long-term collaboration.

 On the 2^nd of February 2016 in St. Petersburg were held both annul business seminar “Hong Kong - aspects and capacity” and evening meeting regarded to Chinese New Year, which were organized by the Council of Developing Hong Kong trade, by Trade-Economic representation of the government of SAR Hong Kong in London and by “Asia and Pacific Collaboration Center”. More than 200 representatives from St. Petersburg companies participated, as well as the members of consulate, official people and mass media of St. Petersburg. Regional director of the Council of developing Hong Kong trade, mister Steven Wang greeted everyone.

 Speakers at seminar:

 Director-general of Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office Ms Priscilla To with the presentation “Contemporary development of Hong Kong and the conditions of bilateral relationships”.

·        General Director of Moscow office of the Council of trade with Hong Kong Mister Leonid Orlov with the presentation “Hong Kong – aspects and capacity for Russian business”.

·        The head of the office of currency and money market, North-Western branch of the company “Moscow stock exchange” Misses Irina Kyuchukova with the presentation “Chinese yuan and Hong Kong dollar for rubles at Moscow stock exchange – the result of auction, plans and perspectives”.

The seminar became a productive platform for presenting business and companies, for exchanging information and contacts between St. Petersburg business men and representatives from Hong Kong. Speakers mentioned unexampled speed of developing bilateral relationships in any fields, especially, the growth of trade, active tourist exchange, positive dynamics in developing collaboration in culture and education.

 On the 9^th of June “Asia and Pacific Collaboration Center” organized a discussion panel, where the delegation of the Committee of Health and Birthrate of Hunan province, PRC participated. The delegation consisted of 6 people and was headed by vice-chairman of the committee, mister Pan Zhango. Representatives of the Committee of Health of St. Petersburg also participated. During the meeting they explored, how St. Petersburg committee worked, exchanged their experiences in the field of health, became acquainted with some programs in St. Petersburg, which are in preventing illnesses and spreading healthy style of life in Russia and agreed on future long-term collaboration.

 On the 23^rd of August “Asia and Pacific Collaboration Center” organized discussion panel at the Committee of environment with the delegation of the Center of exploring the condition of environment and ecology of Zhejiang province, PRC. The delegation consisted of 4 people and was headed by the vice-director of the Center, mister Zhang Jianzhun. During the meeting Chinese delegation became acquainted with the work of the Committee of environment and with the policy of the city in terms of protecting environment. Also they discussed some difficult problems of pollution by transport and both sides exchanged their experiences in researching air condition, water and soil conditions. As a result, experts suggested their solutions in order to tackle ecological problems and also agreed on continuing their meetings and on fostering long-term collaboration.

 On the 14^th of September 2016 “Asia and Pacific Collaboration Center” at Holiday Inn hotel presented some lake productions of different companies of Jiangsu province, PRC. 10 companies, connected with lake productions, representatives of province government, representatives of the Trade and Industry office of St. Petersburg government and St. Petersburg companies participated in the meeting. The aims of the meeting were to present Chinese companies and their productions, to foster the long-term collaboration between the province and St. Petersburg, to discuss some possible projects and to confirm some agreements with local firms. For the province’ economic department it was the first time to present their production abroad and the first step to collaborate with Russian companies.

Organizing the participation of the delegation from St. Petersburg in exhibitions, seminars, conferences in Asia-Pacific countries.

“Asia and Pacific Collaboration Center” organized participation of the representatives of textile industry of St. Petersburg in the 20^th International exhibition of clothes, accessorizes, bijou and instrumentation, which was held from the 20^th of October to 23th of October 2016 in Ningbo city, PRC. For the delegation from St. Petersburg special conditions were done. Free of charge were done following things: transfer, living in the hotel, food, English-Chinese translator, participation at the exhibition. Representatives from St. Petersburg presented their productions, met some new people, and bought some new textile products. 

·          On March 2, 2015 Saint Petersburg hosted the annual business seminar on "Hong Kong - issues and opportunities" and reception on the occasion of the New Year on the Lunar calendar, organized by the Hong Kong Trade and Development Council of the Government of the Special Administrative Region of P.R.C. Hong Kong in London and Asia and Pacific Collaboration Center . More than 200 St. Petersburg businessmen, representatives of the consular corps and officials, representatives of mass media of St. Petersburg attended the event. The Seminar attracted very famous and professional speakers as Mr. Orlov, representative of Hong Kong Trade Development Council in Russia and the CIS,  Mr. D. Krivoblotsky, managing Partner of Impeksconsalt Co., Mrs. I. Kyuchukova - representative of the North-West branch of the Moscow Stock Exchange, Mrs.Sachunova, Deputy Chairman of the Tourism Committee of Saint-Petersburg. The workshop became a productive platform for the presentation of business and companies, exchange of information and contacts between St. Petersburg businessmen and representatives of Hong Kong.

The Centre arranged the participation of the Water-supplying companies of St. Petersburg at the VII World Water Forum, which took place in the city of Daegu (South Korea) from April, 12-17,  2015.

With the assistance of the Center the St. Petersburg State University of Fire Service of EMERCOM of Russia took part in the International exhibition in the field of fire safety and emergency prevention, which was held in Daegu (South Korea) from May 13 to 15, 2015. In addition, during the visit, the delegation visited the South Korean University of Kёngil, the parties signed an agreement on inter-university cooperation.

On May 18, under the auspices of the Center the round table with the participation of the Committee of Forestry and the delegation of the Volgograd region of the Chinese province of Anhui was held, where the issues of forest management, prevention and control of forest fires were discussed. The two sides exchanged experience in the field of forestry development in the two regions and the state forest fire control in forests.

Center organizes the participation of delegations of St. Petersburg in exhibitions in China: Sino-Arab trade and innovation exhibition from September 10 to 13, 2015, Ningxia, China Mining industry Exhibition and Congress in Tianjin from October 20 to 23, 2015, and others.

On March 25, 2014 the Center in cooperation with the St. Petersburg Chamber of Commerce and the Agency of International Educational Programs within the framework of the Government's program for the development of business and the consumer market of St. Petersburg in support of small and medium business of St. Petersburg, have conducted a seminar devoted to cooperation with Vietnam - "How to export and do business in Vietnam." Among the speakers were the second secretary of the Embassy of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam to the Russian Federation Mr. Shon Wu Viet, specialists of APCC, the head of the External Relations Department of the St. Petersburg Chamber of Commerce Ms.Lebedeva, Mr. Le Vu Dinh – businessman, for many years headed the Vietnamese fraternity in St. Petersburg, Mr. Sergeev - Development Director of JSC "Kavio Vietnam" - on the practical aspects of doing business in Vietnam. The seminar was attended by the representatives of the St. Petersburg business.

On March 17, 2014 the Center has organized a round table in the North-West Customs Administration with the participation of delegations of heads of customs administrations of Zhejiang Province, China. During the event, there was an exchange of experience between Russian and Chinese counterparts on the following issues: the legislation of the Russian Federation and China in the field of customs regulations; measures to detect, prevent and combat smuggling; interaction with the ports and port services in both countries in the fight against smuggling; the interaction of Russia and China to prevent the smuggling of goods from the ports of the province of Zhejiang in Russia / Saint-Petersburg. The sides agreed to exchange information and further cooperation, including within the framework established by the Federal Customs Service of Russia and State Customs Committee of the Chinese Working Group on the exchange of information.

On December 15, 2014 the Center organized a round table with the participation of specialists of EMERCOM of Russia in the Leningrad region, the Committee on Natural Resources of the Leningrad Region and the delegation of representatives of the Department of Forestry of China. Theme of the round table included a presentation of the experience of the Leningrad Region and Jiangsu in the fight against fires in the forest areas and forests, organizations fighting fires in forests, fire prevention and fire protection of the population and territories, restoring of forests. The sides agreed to hold a meeting to exchange experience in Jiangsu in 2015.

Due to the economic sanctions imposed by Russia on the supply of agricultural products from the EU, on November, 10 2014 the Center organized the presentation of manufacturers and suppliers of agricultural products of  Yunnan Province, China (range: vegetables, fruits, beef, pork, chicken , fish, tea). On December 1, 2014 the Center has held the presentation of producers and suppliers of agricultural products of Shaanxi Province, China (range: vegetables, fruits, meat). The presentation was attended by food trade, procurement and distribution St. Petersburg companies.

On December 2, 2014 a presentation of the business mission of the South Korean province Kёnpuk was held. The Korean companies presented products of light industry (fabric, threads), the automotive industry (mini-loaders, automotive components); as well as curtains and blinds, agricultural products. The presentation was attended by the St. Petersburg trade companies.

The Center has took part in the preparation of the round table on the issue of peace and security on the Korean Peninsula on November 28, 2014, organized by the Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in Saint Petersburg with the participation of scientists from Russia and the Republic of Korea, diplomats, students and journalists. The agenda included issues of cooperation between Russia and the Republic of Korea in the field of the peaceful reunification of  North and South Korea.

The Center develops cultural cooperation with the countries of the Asia-Pacific region. The Centre participates in the annual International Youth Festival in Daegu (Republic of Korea), the Festival of Culture and Arts of twin cities in Daegu. On October 2, 2013 with the support of the Center with the cooperation of the Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in St. Petersburg, have organized the concert of classical music on the occasion of the Foundation Day of Korea. The concert was attended by Ms. Nie We Won (lead soprano in the opera houses of Germany) and Mr. Gerard Kim (leading baritone of Opera house of Germany). The negotiations on a cultural exchange of creative teams with the twin cities of Shanghai, Qingdao, Daegu and others were held.

The Center in cooperation with the Children's recreation camp "The Star" organized on August, 9 the joint Russian-Chinese concert (folk dancing, playing musical instruments) with participation of St. Petersburg school pupils from the Chinese professional theater college Taiyuan City, Shanxi Province, consisting of 40 people in the led by artistic director Mr. Gao Zhunde. August 14, with the assistance of NP "Center of Asia-Pacific Region" at the Children's recreation camp "Star" organized by the Russian-Chinese meeting and drawing contest among students of schools of St. Petersburg and the China Children's Art Society (Beijing, Shanghai), composed of 50 people headed by Mr. Qin Luo.

October 10, 2014 the Center organized the presentation in the film company "Mosfilm" with representatives of the Chinese corporation for the production and distribution of motion pictures Huaxia Film Distribution Co., Ltd. The sides discussed issues of hire Russian movies from the collections of "Mosfilm" in China in order to promote Russian cinema in China, as well as presentations of contemporary Chinese films in Russia.

As part of the expansion of cooperation between St. Petersburg and the Asia-Pacific countries in tourism on March 19, 2014 the Center held a presentation of the tourist and cultural potential of the province of Sichuan, China. Specialists of Center held a presentation about St. Petersburg as a tourist center in Russia and Europe. On September 17, 2014 there was a presentation of tourism potential of the province of Jiangsu, China. The presentation was attended by the representatives of travel agencies in St. Petersburg. The parties discussed the programs and routes for Chinese tourists in St. Petersburg.

From 14 to 17 August 2014 the Center has organized a delegation of scientists of St. Petersburg to participate in the International Conference and Exhibition of new technologies in Liaoning (Shenyang) in the field of alternative energy, electronics, machinery, machine tools, wear-resistant materials , recycling, ecology, chemistry, medicine and agriculture. Negotiations and established contacts with enterprises and technology parks in Liaoning Province.

From 16 to 21 November 2014 Center has organized a delegation of scientists and industrial enterprises of St. Petersburg to participate in China's largest international exhibition of new technologies in the city of Shenzhen, Guangdong Province "China High Tech Fair 2014". The exhibition was supported by the State Council, the Ministry of Science and Technology of China, People's Government of Shenzhen and others. The main directions of the exhibition: energy conservation, environmental protection, information technology, new generation, biology, high-tech equipment manufacturing, energy, new materials, new energy means of transport. The delegation of St. Petersburg representatives of "LOMO", St. Petersburg State University of Aerospace Instrumentation, NPF "Energosoiuz" and others. Partner NP "Center of Asia-Pacific region" - Government g.Shenchzhen - St. Petersburg gave participants free accommodation and meals in Shenzhen . During the exhibition were established contacts with enterprises of Guangdong and other provinces of China. The delegation met with the mayor g.Shenchzhen, Director of the Department of Science and Technology g.Shenchzhen.

In 2014, with the support of Center organized participation on favorable terms Petersburg enterprises and organizations in other exhibitions in the Asia-Pacific region: Shanghai International Science and Engineering Fair, the West China Technology Exhibition in Sichuan, exhibitions in Hong Kong, the International Exhibition of Robotics g.Degu (Republic of Korea), and others.
